Residential building Stora Sjöfallet, Stockholm, Sweden

Skonto Prefab had the opportunity to participate in the construction of a residential building in a newly created district in Stockholm, by designing, manufacturing, supplying and installing precast reinforced concrete structures. Construction and logistics planning was organized in collaboration with the municipal planning department of the new residential district. This required high precision in planning of construction and logistics works. The biggest challenge successfully resolved was the design and installation of the L-shaped corner balconies without permanent supporting structures and without distributing the load to the top concrete construction of the building. The client acknowledged the quality of the concrete elements supplied by Skonto Prefab, as well as good planning and teamwork.
